Santa Anita Race Track

When I was in Arcadia, CA, I went running during my break. It just happened that I ran into the Santa Anita race track. I had no idea it was there, so I went in to check out the park and to see if they had any races that day. And they did!!! After our seminar, I took the presenter to the race track to see the last two races. We didn't win anything but it was sure fun to be in the sun and see the ponies run.

Sounders FC Inaugural Match

Seattle loses the Super Sonics but gain a MLS team. Since the Mariners and Seahawks are not performing, soccer is our best bet for the city!!! Fortunately, I get to work for the Sounders FC. Here are some great memorable pics! Oh yes, WE WON 3-0!!!!!

Nashville...my favorite city!

I went to Nashville my favorite city in the USA. I had an entire day to myself in the 80 degree weather, it was quite delightful! I jogged for an hour and then headed to the Grand Ole Opry! Just missed Carrie Underwood singing there but I was still able to take a tour and go into the dressing rooms.

Birmingham!!!

I was fortunate enough to visit my aunt Nancy and my Grandpa Tex in Birmingham for a weekend. My friend from Argentina also came for the weekend and Nancy surely took advantage of our muscles!! jk We loved working on the farm and helping her neighbors. While it was snowing in Seattle, we had beautiful 80 degree weather! Ahh the south is great. :)
